Two-Day Industrial Visit to Sudha Dairy Plant for MKI and TCN Nursing School Students

As part of their industrial training and academic exposure, students from MKI and TCN Nursing School, YBN University, undertook a two-day industrial visit to the Sudha Dairy Plant. The visit was organized with the objective of providing students with practical insights into the dairy industry’s operations, quality control systems, and milk product supply chain management.

During the visit, students toured the plant to closely observe the entire production process, including milk collection, processing, quality testing, packaging, storage, and distribution. Industry experts at the plant explained the importance of hygiene standards, food safety protocols, and efficient supply chain mechanisms required to maintain product quality from source to consumer. This hands-on exposure enabled students to better understand how large-scale dairy operations function in real-world industrial settings.

The industrial visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, helping students gain industry-relevant experience and a clearer understanding of professional practices. Such exposure is especially valuable for nursing and allied health students, as it enhances their awareness of nutrition, food safety, and public health perspectives related to dairy products.
