YBN University successfully concluded the second day of the National Seminar on the theme “Exploring New Horizons: Integrating NEP–2020 with Contemporary University Education and the Vision of a Developed India” with great academic enthusiasm and active participation from scholars, faculty members, and students.
The day commenced with an inaugural session, beginning with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by the formal felicitation of the distinguished guests. Eminent academicians and experts, including Prof. (Dr.) Dipendra Singh (Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur), Chairman of the Education Regulation Committee, Pharmacy Council of India; Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Senior Professor and Director, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University (BHU); Prof. V. Prabhakar Reddy, Principal, University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Palamuru University, Mahabubnagar, Telangana, and Central Council of Pharmacy member; Prof. (Dr.) Raju Maji, Department of Law, BHU; and Dr. Neloy Khare, Scientist, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, delivered insightful lectures.
Their deliberations focused on regulatory frameworks and strategic alignment of higher education with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, offering valuable perspectives on policy implementation, academic governance, and future-ready education systems.
Following this, a technical session and oral presentations were conducted under the chairmanship of Prof. V. Prabhakar Reddy. Research scholars from diverse disciplines presented their research papers, participating through both online and offline modes, reflecting a blended and inclusive academic environment. The session highlighted interdisciplinary approaches and innovative research aligned with NEP–2020 objectives.
After the technical sessions, the valedictory session was organized. Dr. Arpana Sharma, Dean Academics, presented a comprehensive summary of the seminar, highlighting its objectives, key outcomes, and academic contributions. Participants also shared their valuable feedback and experiences, appreciating the relevance of the theme, depth of discussions, and scholarly exchange throughout the seminar.
The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by the Co-Convener, Dr. Shammikesh Roy, who expressed sincere gratitude to the organizing committee, speakers, participants, and supporting staff for their collective efforts. The formal conclusion of the programme was marked by the distribution of certificates to the participants.
The two-day national seminar provided a significant platform for meaningful dialogue on educational reforms and the vision of a Developed India, reinforcing YBN University’s commitment to academic excellence, policy-oriented research, and national educational priorities.
